Our Limited Mindset
Most of us have moments, situations, or circumstances in our lives that challenge us, and make us unhappy with our accomplishments and our lives.
A promotion at work that never quite comes. Not getting the opportunities we want. Self doubt leads us to believe we are not good enough.
We want to make a career change or implement a drastic idea, but are uncertain how to make it happen.
A project we don’t take, or a presentation we fail to give out of fear of failure in the eyes of our boss, peers, family or friends.
These types of scenarios, and many like them, put the feeling of inadequacy in our minds— the thought of being a failure, and not being good enough or intelligent enough to succeed.
Pamela has experienced all of these fears and feelings during her life. She realized, however, that living life in fear, with self doubt and uncertainty means a constant state of the “I Can’t” attitude. Pamela will tell you we can live beyond the limitations of our thoughts, fears, self doubt, and uncertainty. She says, “I changed. I learned that regardless of situation or circumstance, our lives change when we change our attitude. I then started living a MAC’D life.” MAC’D – Mindset, Action, Commitment, Discomfort – is the method Pamela started using throughout her life to effectively deal with her fears, self doubt, and uncertainty.
